Red to Dead Cycle Challenge Sponsorship

We are proud to be sponsoring this cycle ride in Israel which starts today covering 900km, 7,500 metres of ascent over 8 days. Colin White, FD at Mini-Cam, along with 15 other amateur cyclists will take on the route which starts at the Red Sea and take them through cities, deserts, mountain passes, and along breath-taking coastlines, the route finishes at the lowest point on Earth, The Dead Sea. This is being done to raise funds for a North-West based charity called Message Trust, that has a vision for working with those groups of people who are often considered to be at the ‘bottom of the pile’ but are commonly in the greatest need for help. The work has been ongoing for around 20 years and is part of an overall vision to see people and society transformed. The Message Trust specifically works with ex-offenders who are being given training, work, mentoring and accommodation to help get them back into society and for whom re-offending is just 10% (vs national average of up to 80%). They also have organised teams of workers to move into some of the most deprived and challenging neighbourhoods as part of a long term social and community transformation process. They also have teams who work with schools and young people including, young offenders, with the intention giving hope and purpose, using creative and thought provoking means. The purpose of this ride is to raise £150,000 to support the work of The Message trust to keep helping the hardest to reach young people from across the globe Good luck to the team.
