Iain brings his practical experience, banking insight and the business contacts he’s made over the years to Rowan in an advisory capacity, and will work closely with Rowan’s SME-Owner clients in all departments.
Iain was a Senior Manager with global bank HSBC for over 36 years, primarily in the North-West, and is qualified to degree level as an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB).
He has worked with North-West SME owners and key controllers, providing different types of funding to support growth, acquisitions, MBOs and exits for internationally trading wholesale businesses and within other industry sectors. He has put in place multi-million pound structured working capital facilities via debtor funding and import loan facilities, to support their growth and success.
Whilst Iain has lived and worked around the North-West for over 20 years, he is a proud native of Newcastle, and a long-suffering fan of its football team.
