Johnathan joined Rowan to head up our Non-Executive and Chair division, having gained a wealth of experience and developed a number of relationships in this world during his previous careers across private equity and corporate finance.
However, as Rowan has grown over the past 12 months taken investment from LCap, it quickly became apparent that Johnathan’s experience lends itself not only to making non-executive appointments, but also to working with business founders, owners and investors to optimise value creation plans using our proprietary ‘Leadership Dynamics’ software.
Johnathan is passionate about working with business owners to create, enhance and protect shareholder value.
The Leadership Dynamics platform provides objective, data-led insight and analysis, which enables a client to understand where they are now and what they need to do to successfully deliver a value creation plan and achieve their ambitions.
Leadership is a key value creation lever, and Johnathan partners with clients to help them build a leadership team with the right level of functional diversity and situational experience to deliver growth.
This can help clients avoid the risk and opportunity cost of poor leadership, give them confidence in building a best-in-class leadership team and also solve issues like succession planning.
Outside of work Johnathan is a dedicated father-of-2, a keen walker and a long-time Manchester United season ticket holder. He’s also known for being a bit of a coffee geek and a dab hand at karaoke!
