O’Neill Patient Group (ONP), a top 70 law firm based in Stockport, has acquired Conveyancing Alliance (CAL) from ULS Technology Plc for an undisclosed sum. CAL is an Oxford-based, broker platform that focuses on the requirements of brokers, estate agents and their clients.
ONP specialises in providing conveyancing services for residential and commercial purchases, sales, remortgages and lease extensions. The Group’s technology ensures that it is one of the most efficient conveyancers in the industry. ONP was originally a client of CAL, which offers its conveyancing services to numerous leading law firms. CAL will continue to work with a range of law firms, operating as normal.
CAL is ONP’s second acquisition in eight months, as Cavendish Legal Group was acquired in March 2020.

Additionally, Andy Scaife emphasised the importance that ONP places on “all introducers, panel managers, brokers and estate agents”. The CEO stated that “[ONP has] worked hard over a number of years to build close working relationships and we intend to continue to work with all of our customer partners, across the industry, to provide the same exemplary service [that] we have become well known for.”
