Manchester-based Winning Pitch is acquired by a London Group

How can a business fast track growth?

The £5 million turnover, Manchester-based advisory business Winning Pitch has been sold to Newable, a London-based provider of workspace, money and advice to small firms.

In 2005, Winning Pitch was founded by John Leach. During this time, Winning Pitch has supported over 16,500 Northern and Welsh business through entrepreneurial coaching, providing proven insight and powerful solutions to help build scale and increase value. Overall, helping to create approximately 28,000 jobs.

Winning Pitch works with small businesses but also the public and private sector. For example, Winning Pitch has partnered local and central governments, such as Lancashire County Council and West Yorkshire Combined Authority, to design, deliver and manage multifaceted high growth business contracts. The deal will complement Newable’s own government partners, which include the Department for International Trade. However, Newable also offers a full range of services to SMEs such as lending, business advice and workspace through its venture NewFlex.
