In keeping with our values-based recruitment policy, Rowan recruited Claire from Archive Solutions, where, as Managing Director, she successfully oversaw an exit and trade sale to Restore plc.
Claire loves helping others, and wanted to support other SMEs on their growth journeys after leaving Archive. She initially joined Rowan as a Consultant, and after having a baby in 2014, joined the delivery team, using her industry knowledge, network and extensive research experience to support MD Paul Waite on the appointment of finance leaders and future leaders, completing almost 100 CFO/FD assignments!
Finance comes naturally to Claire: as well as working with CFOs and FDs here at Rowan, her clients at Archive were mainly CFOs, she’s helped her sister Hayley Dunn on her Finance career trajectory and is even married to NRG Riverside CFO Darren Powell!
Outside of work Claire is a keen runner, mum of 2 and step-mum of 2, as well as a big foodie and wine lover, having recently passed her Wine and Spirit Education course.
Based in the Manchester office, Claire also enjoys spending time with her work-from-home buddy Cilla the Cocker Spaniel; balancing a demanding schedule of Executive Research, CFO interviews and tummy rubs!
